may's astrological digest
plus join me at pre-UAC consulting skills
Let’s chat about the rest of the month…it’s juicy!
And I wanted to give ya’ll some highlights to make sure your calendars are marked!
May 16-17 | New Moon, 26° Taurus
I love this New Moon, especially for planting new seeds—while also continuing to adjust and digest the bigger Astrological shifts going on in the background. Remember–we are only 3-weeks into this new era of Uranus in Gemini. There may be a lot of new developments, changes, and ah-ha’s entering your life. This new Uranian era is a BIG adjustment.
Harness Taurus’ love of ease, pleasure, nutritious food, and walking barefoot in the grass.
And sure, Taurus New Moons are traditionally considered among the most potent for material manifestation, with the Venusian influence of the sign. But don’t forget that true abundance comes from a grounded place.
That’s why, instead of doing a big elaborate “money” spell in the name of Taurus, I just made bone broth. Because I know that the nutrient rich foods I feed myself this week are spells in themselves!
💎Bonus: here is my crystal guy Michael Runewalker’s official list of crystals that can help us ground and adjust this new paradigm of Uranus in Gemini:
Apache Tears Smoky Quartz, Clear Quartz, Rainbow Moonstone, Malachite, and Selenite.
Consider your crystal grid on lock for this New Moon!
May 17 | Mercury enters Gemini
Mercury moves into its own sign. In other words, Mercury is maximizing their productivity and output when it comes to communication, networking, writing, and just plain gabbing. Note that Mercury enters a sign that Uranus just entered; it will traverse early Gemini in Uranus’s fresh wake. I see this as Mercury going to get the tea from Uranus, asking more about what this new era is all about.
Look out for more information disruption on the news. And protect your passwords! Be careful you don’t accidentally send the sh*t-talking gossip text to the person you’re talking sh*t about instead of your bff. But I know none of you would do that, anyways ;)
May 18 | Mars enters Taurus
Mars moves from fiery, combative Aries into a much more cautious Taurus. It’s kinda like Mars is switching from being the Knight of Wands into the Knight of Pentacles. If you catch my drift.
Overall, we may feel less spontaneous and more focused on sustaining momentum. However, between May 22-27, Mars will also be in a square with Pluto in Aquarius. I could see some arguments or power struggles erupting, mainly about timing. You may feel frustrated that your partner isn’t ready to move forward but you are. Or your boss wants you to jump headfirst into a a project, whilst you think that’s completely the wrong move.
I would avoid trying to push, control, or force others on the path of your own agenda. If your agenda is truly the right one, they’ll come to that realization themselves—after the 27th.
May 18 | Venus enters Cancer (within hours of Mars ingress)
Venus follows Mars into a sign shift on the same evening. God, I love when that happens! Venus in Cancer is, of course, focused on nurturing, protecting, domesticating, and being emotionally attuned. She’s also sextiling Mars in Taurus–which might soften the blow of the Pluto square a bit.
What’s actually exciting is that Venus now enters the sign where Jupiter resides in exaltation — and the two benefics are beginning to move toward each other in Cancer. This Venus-Jupiter conjunction will perfect in mid-June.
Now, we’ve already experienced this Venus-Jupiter in Cancer conjunction once in mid-August 2025. Think of that point as an initiation of sorts. Now, this second conjunction we’ll be experiencing mid-June 2026 will ask, what has blossomed and grown from that past initiation?
May 20-23 | Sun enters Gemini & Conjoins Uranus
Welcome to Gemini season. You may have noticed this already, but note that four planets have now changed signs within approximately 63 hours (Mercury, Mars, Venus, and the Sun). This is an unusually concentrated seasonal shift. The sky of mid-May has been replaced and brand new energy is present; things feel different. Potentially, our new path feels a bit more solidified.
Because of the Sun’s almost-immediate conjunction with Uranus, I’m thinking about a new machine being plugged into the electric outlet for the first time. There’s a bit of “reinvention” energy in the air. Let’s go, Einsteins.
