I know what you’re feeling — and it’s Mars approaching their square to Uranus. Let me explain.
Technically, Mars’ square to Uranus will profect on Sunday, June 15th at 4:45am CST. However, as my astrology teacher once told me: Mars fires early. This is to say—we are already feeling this pressure-cooker influence.
Here are three images that we can associate with Mars-Uranus aspectual relationships:
⚡️The lightning breaks the sky and begins the first summer storm
🎻A violin string snaps after a violent crescendo
🧊The ancient avalanche cracks open the frozen cemetery beneath the surface
Mars-Uranus archetypically represents a breaking point, or rather—a turning point, brought on by an intense eruption followed by an equally intense burst of release. Similar to the feeling of unscrewing a release-valve, or finally popping open the hard-to-twist lid on the can of tomato sauce.
Emotionally, we may feel this way too: like a jar too stuck to open. We know it may feel good to open (aka cry, scream, growl, etc.), yet we are afraid of where that emotional release will lead us. Emotional release matches the frequency of radical honesty, which is why we often feel better after we’ve had a good cry. Honesty opens the doors to acceptance, which also opens the door to our bigger life shifts. Subconsciously, we know the big emotions often lead to big changes. And maybe that’s why we don’t often let ourselves feel the extent of our most honest feelings… because they may lead us to change! And what is change, if not our ego’s biggest foe?
Remember that every transit hits on both an individual and a collective level. As for this Mars-Uranus square, the smallest creature under the smallest rock even will feel the tension building in the collective air. Any violence, tension, and uprising this weekend will set the stage for the next chapter of worldly revolution. Karmically, it is an important time for us to face ancient patters of the oppressor and the oppressed. I believe this is one of the main reasons our souls chose to incarnate during this specific period.
